We are 24 members but with holidays etc. we normally have about 4 tables.
We play duplicate bridge and usually use the Howell movement although we try an individual movement twice a season. We normally get through about 16 hands in an evening. Our bidding is Acol and we try to use stayman, blackwood, 2 club, and first round informatory double.
Most members have played now for about five years and have learnt from a few members that used to play bridge 20 years ago. Our enthusiasm and fellowship make up for our standard
