After many years of planning and fundraising, our chosen builders, Brett Construction, arrived on Monday 3rd April 2006. Preliminary site set up included installing the foreman's site office and making the whole site secure. |

Goodbye, old hall The hall was emptied and contents moved to the church, a new container and a skip. In preparation for the builders arrival, church volunteers cleared the grounds |

Electricity, gas and telephones were disconnected from the hall. The nursery school moved to the undercroft. |

Harras fencing was placed all round the perimeter of the site. A site office and temporary canteen were installed. |
|
The front wall was partially demolished for access. Tree surgeons arrived to remove the stump of the large maple tree. |
