A skilled group of roof tilers arrived to complete the pitched roof |

The woodwork structure was covered with felt and battens. The long sunny days of summer made this job a lot more pleasant. |

The roof was gradually covered with grey slate
tiles, which matched with the tiles on the church roof.

|
Velox windows run along each side of the roof, giving both light and ventilation to the large hall area. These windows are fitted with blinds and are designed to shut automatically when it rains. |
