2 Demolition

The demolition team stripped out the hall fixtures before heavy equipment arrived and quickly demolished the hall.

Work started inside the hall. Doors, cupboards and kitchen fittings were detached.

An extremely large digger was manoevered onto the site with some difficulty.

The operator made a noisy start by smashing the windows and continued to flatten the hall at great speed.

The various materials were sorted into piles for collection. The operation attracted a constant stream of interested spectators.
