9 Floor Laying

Installing the roof slab for the lower floor and the flooring for the main complex level was a delicate operation.

Pre-formed concrete floor slabs were brought by lorry.

A very large crane arrived and each slab was lifted off the lorry and swung high in the air over the steel hall frame.

The slabs were carefully lowered and guided into place by the crew.

The floor is completed and awaits the external brickwork.
