The bricklayers built a circular opening for the mosaic and boarding was inserted to hold the heavy stone work. |

Meanwhile in the vicar's garage, Jo Colwill was designing and assembling the mosaic from stones and tiles in a variety of shapes and colours.

The mosaic was carefully lifted into position. A light will be installed illuminate the feature at night. |

A line of grout was worked between the stones and a final polish completed the job. |
